Finding a property in Spain.

A property in Spain, particularly a property in Andalucia and the Costa del Sol, which has always been the most popular, is almost impossible without the help of a property agent.

To achieve your ideal holiday villa or apartment in Spain or Costa del Sol, or even to find your dream retirement home in Spain, without such assistance would need you to rent an apartment for at least one month, driving around Spanish villas, townhouses or apartments knocking on doors displaying Spanish property agent details that this is a villa or apartment for sale.
 

Therefore your main requirement in looking for your luxury villa or holiday studio apartment, is firstly to find the right property agent.  Like most places, property agents in Spain have the very good and not so good ones.

Secondly,  it is obvious that each agent will have a few of the properties that might be suitable in a very basic way,  for example – number of bedrooms , bathrooms – garage - pool.  This will apply to a thousand or so Costa del Sol properties available, but probably only a dozen or so will fit your ideal requirements.

You therefore must go into as much detail as possible in setting down your ideal property in Spain . Consider – full details of location such as, new development, established area, city, seafront, inland, near school, transport consideration, golf resort or other activities, price bracket of area, nationality of residents if there is an overwhelming predominance of one particular group which is quite prevalent.

There are many other aspects which you should detail in the same way.  Now this is, of course, common sense but it can be seen that it will still require you to contact many property agents in Spain and get this across to many of them to get a fair selection of all the properties that come very close to your ideal property.
